Guest
Service Supervisor
The Guests and Guest Service staff of each area of the building
are under the leadership of at least one Guest Service Supervisor.
These customer service professionals ensure the Guest Service
Hosts are politely greeting, ticketing and ushering the Guests.
They also ensure the building rules for each event (such as
no-smoking, camera polices, etc.) are being enforced by Host
and Security staff. Guest Service Supervisors take corrective
action with their staff as necessary. The Supervisor also
manages the crowd during the event ensuring that everyone
is having fun without risking anyoneâs safety. The Supervisors
actively seek out Guests in need of assistance to resolve
issues quickly. He/She will be relied upon by the staff to
resolve incidents, issues and complaints from beginning to
final resolution while documenting the incident.
Qualifications:
The right candidate is outgoing,
polite, friendly, assertive and detail oriented. He/She is
willing and able to actively engage Guests and employees in
tough, high pressure situations while remaining calm and professional.
Previous customer service experience is required and previous
supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates must be able
to obtain an unarmed security license from St. Louis City/County.
Please note this license requires an FBI background check
and two-day class. You must be able to stand during an entire
event in a cold arena. Sometimes Guest Service Supervisors
are required to set up/take down chairs (must be able to life/carry
up to 25 pounds) or push Guests in a wheelchair. Guest Service
Supervisors usually work evenings and weekends and must be
available to work 50% of the events in the building.
