The pinnacle event of women’s college basketball returns to Scottrade Center as St. Louis hosts the 2009 NCAA® Women’s Final Four® April 5 & 7. Individual tickets are sold out, but fans can still find plenty of opportunities to be part of the excitement. Several events and activities will take place around the games – many free to the public. Per the 2009 NCAA Women’s Final Four Fan Guide:
For the safety of all guests, the following security measures will be in effect during the 2009 NCAA Women’s Final Four:
No bags, briefcases or large purses
No back packs
Inspections of small bags, including diaper bags, will be required as you enter Scottrade Center.
No firearms, explosives or other weapons (chains, knives, etc.)
No pepper spray or mace.
No bottles, cans, coolers or other containers except in cases of medical need, as certified by a physician.
No missile-like objects
No artificial noisemakers, inflatable noisemakers, air horns, megaphone that may be used as a distraction.
No laser pointers
No balloons, large signs, flags or banners or other items mounted on poles.
No video cameras are allowed on game days.
No promotional items with commercial slogans or identification are allowed.
No food or drinks. Guests with special diets must contact the Guest Service Department to make arrangements.
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
No re-entry
Small personal cameras with fixed lenses will be permitted but, no professional cameras. (See Scottrade Center Camera Policy for professional camera definition.)
The facility has the authority to prohibit any other items deemed to be a security risk.
Patrons will be required to return all prohibited items to their vehicles, hotel room or homes.
CONFISCATED ITEMS WILL BE DISPOSED AND NOT RETURNED.
