Human Resources Assistant (seasonal, part-time position)

Handles administrative functions for the Human Resources Department and provides support in all areas of human resources. Specific functions include acting as first line of contact for all employee concerns, answers all incoming calls, assists with all employment related activities including the processing of applications and response letters as well as preparations for new hire orientation. Candidates must have 1-2 years administrative experience. Experience or education in human resources preferred. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce. HR duties/activities must compliment the event schedule of our building, so the ability to work flexible hours is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS is also required. Event Receptionist (part-time position)

Responsibilities include giving outstanding, friendly, prompt and professional service to incoming callers and office guests of Scottrade Center and the St. Louis Blues before, during and after events. Candidates must enjoy a fast paced environment and be able to work a flexible schedule which is primarily evenings and weekends but includes some late evenings. Professional presentation and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with multi-line phone systems and basic computer knowledge are required. This position also requires that the candidate maintain Scottrade Centers Guest Service, Team Member and Appearance standards. Interested candidates should submit a resume by November 30, 2006.
Generalist (full-time position)

Acts as initial contact/resource for employees. Answers employee questions and directs them to proper resources. Processes employment applications and participates in job fairs along with placing employment advertisements, pre-screens and other employment activities. Responsible for new hire paperwork. Performs attendance administration and runs reports for departments as requested. Administer company benefit program. B.A. or two or more years-related experience and/or training are required.
Intern (part-time temporary paid position)

Two paid internship positions are available for the fall semester only (approximately September throuth December). Interns will work as part of a team consisting of key representatives of the Scottrade Center/ St. Louis Blues Human Resources Department. Main areas of responsibility will include recruitment and training. Specific duties are as follows: applicant/employee data entry, assist with application sessions including administrative functions and pre-screening, attend job fairs and other recruiting events, assist with new employee orientations including administrative functions and facilitation of program, handle incoming calls from applicants, employees, outside contacts, development of monthly Employee Newsletter and all other duties as assigned. Qualifications include excellent leadership, with interpersonal and communication skills a must. The ability to interact with a wide variety of people will be important. Undergraduate student preferred. Candidate must possess a demonstrated interest in Human Resource Management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Internship requires approximately 10-20 hours per week. Must be available to work evening hours as dictated by our staffing calendar.
Receptionist (full-time position)

Serves as the initial contact for prospective clients and the general public. Greets guests in a friendly manner and provides information, assistance and gives directions to all guests in the reception area. Answers and appropriately route incoming telephone calls. Receives and delivers messages. Performs limited filing or related office work. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training is required.
Seasonal Receptionist (part-time position)

Hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday during the hockey season. The primary duties of the position include answering the phones, greeting guests, and sorting mail as well as providing clerical assistance to the administrative staff. Qualified candidates must be able to handle a fast-paced environment, professional, and have excellent communication and telephone skills. Basic computer knowledge is required and experience with multi-line phone systems is preferred.
