Building Operations Administrative Assistant (part-time position)

Entry-level, part-time position of Administrative Assistant with responsibilities that include handling clerical, telephone and administrative assistance for the Building Operations Department and reporting to the Vice President of Building Operations. Other duties include assisting with scheduling, maintaining files and correspondence, bookkeeping, mail processing, etc. Previous administrative experience is preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel is also required. Customer Service experience also a plus. Maintains and prepares the facility for events as well as supervises events as assigned. Specific duties consist of preventative maintenance, ice making and event set-up/tear down. Candidate will work with set-up crews, union labor as well as other internal departments. Experience in facility management is required. A sports management background is preferred. Candidate must possess a high level of interpersonal skills, strong oral & written communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be able to work long, irregular hours including nights and weekends.
Building Operations Director (full-time position)

This position reports directly to the Vice President of Building Operations. Primary responsibility includes the day-to-day management of the Building Operations Department, including event setup/teardown and supervising the building operations staff, outside vendors and contractors in the areas of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, grounds and carpentry. Specific duties include assisting with the development and monitoring of the department budget, maintaining standard operating procedures manual and inspects the facility daily to ensure compliance, develops and implements work performance and safety programs, manages and verifies the completion of all capital improvement projects, supervises the labor crew on making of ice, scheduling of labor hours, responsible for all maintenance, repairs and replacements conducted on Scottrade Center, arranges for state and insurance licensing inspections. Candidate will work with setup crews, union labor as well as other internal departments. Experience in arena facility management is required. Candidate must also have background in computer control, mechanical/electrical engineering and ice making. Candidate must possess a high level of interpersonal skills, strong oral & written communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be able to work long, irregular hours including nights and weekends.
Electrician (full-time position)

Responsibilities include planning layout and installs as well as repairs, wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment. Candidates must have previous electrical maintenance experience. A flexible work schedule is required. Candidates must be able to work long, irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Maintenance Technician (full-time position)

Primary responsibility is to perform everyday maintenance within Scottrade Center to keep the facility in proper operating condition, including changeovers for daily events, general and preventative maintenance. Candidates must be able to learn operational set-ups/ice making and have experience in plumbing, carpentry, painting, welding as well as HVAC. A flexible schedule is required. Candidates must be able to work long, irregular hours including, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
