Concessions
Bartender (part-time position)
Status at this time: Open

A Bartender on the concourse level that prepares and serves all cocktails, beer, and wine to guests of Scottrade Center.

Responsibilities include the following:
• Provide fast, efficient and friendly service at all times.
• Maintains proper pouring costs.
• Provide suggestions to guests on drinks in a professional and courteous manner.
• Possess full working knowledge of all drinks and wines served as well as all food items served.
• Responsible for alcohol intervention.
• Ability to count back change.
• Prepare guests checks accurately, collect proper payment and possess working knowledge of cash registers.
• Properly use all equipment in the bar.
• Receive and resolve guests questions and concerns.
• Must be familiar with building layout, restrooms, exits, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain Scottrade Center Guest Service, Team Member and Appearance standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Bartender must be available to work weekend and evening hours as dictated by the event and staffing calendar.

Operations
Guest Service Assistant (full-time position)

The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center are seeking an aggressive, professional, passionate, self-starter who has a proven track record and is passionate about sports for the position of Guest Service Assistant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for organizing and coordinating the department’s Team Members’ schedules, assignments, payroll, and uniforms & equipment.
• Assists the Guest Service Department by organizing, coordinating and supporting operational functions including budgets, event files and event related guest concerns
• Organize and coordinate Guest Service Hosts, Security, Supervisors and Building Security staff by maintaining databases of demographic information, collecting, filing and tabulating all staff availabilities according to company procedures. Coordinate documentation necessary for personnel actions including corrective actions (CAR) and personnel action forms (PAF).
• Must possess strong organizational skills and communication skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma (or GED), with a preference for some college.
• 1-2 years customer service experience both in person and on the phone.

Sales
Corporate Sales Coordinator (full-time position)

The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Corporate Sales Coordinator. This position coordinates the St. Louis Blues and Scottrade Center Corporate and Sponsor Sales areas by conducting research, developing presentations, coordinating installation and tracking existing accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Works with the Corporate Sponsorship Department in developing customized sales presentations for client meetings.
· Develops and maintains sales tracking tools such as account lists, sales as orders and inventory tracking and works with the Sponsorship Services Department to ensure proper records are kept.
· Works closely with the Finance Department to ensure accurate billing and payment for each booked account.
· Maintains strong awareness of promotional activities of other professional sports teams to generate ideas for local use.
· Maintains strong up-to-the-minute awareness of the business community, marketing trends and opportunities to help create new sponsorship leads.
· Helps coordinate with the Sponsorship Service Department the production and installation of all in-arena advertising signage, interfacing with the sign production companies and Building Operations Department.

Qualifications:
Qualifications include bachelor’s degree and minimum one year related sales administrative experience, preferably in sports. Excellent oral, written and listening communications skills required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Extensive experience with Photoshop, Power Point and Excel are required. Director of Suite Sales (full-time position)

The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center seeks qualified candidates for the position of Director of Suite Sales. This position requires an aggressive, competitive, professional, experienced sales person to join our expanded sales efforts.

The Director of Suite Sales is responsible for selling, servicing and renewing luxury suites at Scottrade Center. The selected candidate must execute effective sales calls and presentations promoting the purchase of luxury suites in order to meet sales objectives by creating and implement unique sales strategies. This includes contacting businesses and other potential clients on a daily basis for new leads. This position will maintain and produce reports on sales efforts as well as generate suite lease renewals.

The selected candidate must be able to work in a high-energy environment, have excellent communication, presentation and relationship building skills, and the ability to sell effectively. Must be able to meet all department guidelines and sales goals. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years sales experience, preferably in sports sales and management, required.

As some of the selling activities will occur during events, must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Previous exposure to high volume sales activities is preferred. A competitive salary, commission and excellent benefits package are available for the right candidate. Premium Services Representative (full-time position)

The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Premium Services Representative. This position helps develop and expand relationships with season ticket holders, groups, and suite holders with the St. Louis Blues and Scottrade Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop positive relationships with season ticket holders, groups, and suite holders to aid in ticket renewals, upgrades, and new sales.
· Improve communications such as newsletters, collateral, etc. to ticket and suite holders and make regular retention calls to customers.
· Implement special season ticket/suite holder events and value added benefits and rewards. Assist in the development of new programs as well.
· Carry out ticket and suite holder retention plans as well as assist in building wide sales campaigns with the goal of maximizing renewals and revenue.
· Work Blues games along with select family events visiting suites and season ticket holders to maximize guest service and further develop relationships.
· Receive and resolve guest questions and concerns and work with appropriate department to resolve other service issues.
· Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications include four-year college degree in a related field; previous experience in a similar field is strongly preferred. A strong, dynamic, and outgoing personality is required. Strong customer service skills are necessary. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is essential. Excellent oral, written and listening communications skills required. Ticket Sales Representative (full-time position)

The St. Louis Blues/Scottrade Center seeks qualified candidates for the position of Ticket Sales Representative. The Ticket Sales Representative is responsible for aggressively and professionally selling season tickets, group tickets and suites to current and existing customers to meet or exceed goals and creates new ideas to increase ticket sales.

• The Ticket Sales Representative will build relationships to provide repeat business and excellent customer service
• Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers
• Make out-bound calls from provided lists to area companies to sell season, group and partial plan ticket packages
• Answer in-bound calls to provide customer service to existing customers, sell ticket packages to new customers and answer general questions
• Conduct in-arena appointments and tours of Scottrade Center to assist in generating new business and developing new relationships
• Work games to support ticket sales and other promotional initiatives
• Participate and contribute to weekly sales team meetings and training sessions

The selected candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Manage multiple relationships well. Be detailed, organized and have effective time management skills. As some selling activities will occur during events, the selected candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A bachelor’s degree and strong passion or desire to work in the sports industry is required. Prior sales experience is preferred but not required. The Club
Banquet Captain (part-time position)

The Club seeks qualified candidates for the position of Banquet Captain. This position makes even space visually appealing and presents the menu offered for the event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· General banquet preparations
· Sets all linens and tables
· Designs and sets the buffets and beverage stations
· Maintains a sanitary environment and refreshes the room.
· Provides support to all banquet staff to ensure the successful and effective operation.
· Maintains Scottrade Center Guest Service, Team Member and Appearance standards.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Must have an extensive knowledge of table setups, linen, and buffet setups.
· Safe Serve certification is strongly preferred.
· Previous experience in meeting planning
· Must have previous fine dining experience.

Club Manager (full-time position)

Scottrade Center, St. Louis’ premier arena and sports facility, is seeking qualified candidates to lead our fine dining and catering areas as Club Manager. An upscale 500-seat private restaurant, private catering service, which includes backstage catering for premier concerts and sporting events, is available for the right manager. The candidate must have at least 5 years experience managing restaurant operations, have extensive food and beverage menu and product knowledge, and be able to train and motivate staff to deliver service of the highest quality. Club Server (part-time position)

Are you a fan of world-class entertainment and sporting events? Do you have the skills to serve our VIP guests in The Club restaurant at Scottrade Center, St. Louis’s Premier sports and entertainment venue? We are currently seeking a highly enthusiastic, easily motivated Club Server to assist our guests in their dining experience!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure each guest receives world-class service, while enjoying the entertainment at hand.
· Completely establishes a dynamic presentation of fine dining, from initial preparation of food, to presentation to the table from chafing dishes, through the clean-up process following each course.
· Enhances the diners entertainment experience by accurately writing order, garnishing the dishes prior to serving, and totaling the bill and accepting payment.
· Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
· Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
· Maintains Scottrade Center Guest Service, Team Member and Appearance standards.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
· One-year minimum experience in the fine dining field.
· Requires knowledge of cocktail recipes.
· Pleasant demeanor and well groomed.
· Able to regularly lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.

Suite Server (part-time position)

Responsible for setting and maintaining luxury suites by performing the following duties:

• Provides fast, efficient and friendly guest service to suites at all times.
• Maintain a full working knowledge of all drinks, wine and food served in suites.
• Offer food and beverage suggestions to guests.
• Prepare guest bills accurately and collect proper payments by use of the Suite Point of Sales System.
• Responsible for cleaning up suites at the end of each event.
• Maintain Scottrade Center Guest Service, Team Member and Appearance standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
