Due to overwhelming fan demand, six-time Grammy Award-winning recording artists The Black Eyed Peas have announced the second leg of their BlackBerry Presents “The E.N.D. World Tour 2010,” which arrives at Scottrade Center in St. Louis on Saturday, August 14th, 2010. Supported by BACARDI® Rum, the official spirit of the tour, this AEG Live-produced trek is described as the ultimate Black Eyed Peas party experience, and marks the first time that the group – will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and Fergie – is united for a North American headlining tour since their 2006 Monkey Business outing.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, March 20th at 12:00 Noon. Fans can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000, Ticketmaster Express at 866-448-7849 (automated only self service line) or online at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets are subject to applicable service charges and event time and date are subject to change. Log on to www.blackeyedpeas.com for the most up to date concert and ticket on-sale information.

The North American leg of BlackBerry Presents “The E.N.D. World Tour 2010” is the group’s most ambitious stage production to date, and has been acclaimed by critics across the country. The New York Times called the show “pop’s latest sci-fi spectacle,” and RollingStone.com described it as “kind of Buck Rogers meets Vivienne Westwood,” while the Boston Globe recognized the Peas as “full-throttle performers seemingly made for arena-ready entertainment.” The Baltimore Sun praised the concert as “a dizzying digital love fest” and “a night of eye-popping excess,” and Connecticut’s The Day was awed by concerts they called “effects-flaunting, hydraulics-loving, confetti-spewing extravaganzas.”

The Black Eyed Peas’ #1 album The E.N.D. is RIAA-certified triple platinum in the U.S., selling more than 2.2 million copies in the U.S. and 6 million copies and counting worldwide. It is strong as ever at #4 this week, in its 38th week on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The group’s newest single, “Imma Be,” just earned its 2nd week at the #1 spots on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Hot Digital Tracks charts, with sales over 1.5 million and Top 10 download status at iTunes. The smash hit follows record-breaking, consecutive #1 singles “Boom Boom Pow” (12 weeks at #1, and 4.9 million sales to date) and “I Gotta Feeling” (14 weeks at #1, and 5.1 million sales to date), the most downloaded song in iTunes history.

Ticket prices for this event are $79.50, $59.50 and $37. Tickets will be available at the Scottrade Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers, by phone at 800-745-3000, or online at ticketmaster.com. A per ticket facility fee will be added to all tickets purchased at all locations, including at the Scottrade Center Box Office. Additional Ticketmaster service charges and handling fees apply.
